5 month old kitten has rare condition that gives him unique look and so happy to be adored

A 5-month-old kitten has an uncommon disease and a distinct appearance.

He is overjoyed to be aided and cherished.

Thus, Teddy the kitten has a knowledgeable expression on his face that belies his age.

He was taken to the Odd Cat Sanctuary in Salem, Massachusetts, for a better life.

Moreover, the creator of the Odd Cat Sanctuary, Tara Kay, was approached by an animal rescuer with a litter of kittens.

And the small gray cat stuck out.

Even though he was only a few weeks old, his skin was extraordinarily elastic and floppy.

When the kitten came and met a worker from the sanctuary. He immediately started purring loudly.

Teddy was born with Feline cutaneous asthenia (commonly known as Ehlers-Danlos syndrome).

This hereditary disorder produces a lack of collagen in the body.

Affecting the strength and flexibility of the skin and ligaments.

Teddy, the rescue’s youngest cat with EDS, is only five months old.

He has begun therapy to assist enhance the quality and strength of his skin.

Therefore, his wounds are mending nicely. And he transforms into a lovable blob of mush whenever he is catered to.

Teddy has been a snuggle bug and purr machine since arriving at the rescue.

Between naps and play periods, he insists on gaining attention from his caregivers.
