Cat found outside is so glad to be taken into comfy home so her kittens can thrive

A family discovered an orange tabby cat and brought it to a vet facility.

She arrived with a bite wound on her right hip, indicating that she had been in a struggle with another animal.

The cat was given wound treatment as well as an ultrasound, which revealed that she was pregnant.

She was sent to Cat Adoption Team after finishing her stray hold at the county shelter (in Oregon).

Renee volunteered to foster the expecting mother since she needed a secure place to raise her kittens.

After fending for herself outside for several times, the tabby named Duchess was first shy and anxious.

Duchess nodded her approval after inspecting her new catsuit and opted to accompany her foster mom for petting and snuggles.

She felt more comfortable with others and even attempted to play.

Renee began demonstrating her that hands are for soft things like petting and chin rubs because the little girl didn’t seem to realize that fingers aren’t toys.

The litter of five keeps its mother confined at all times.

When Duchess takes a moment to refill and stretch, she eats quickly and returns to care to her demanding offspring.

Duchess came across to sit with Renee for the first moment since birth, as she kneaded away on a blanket beside her after a few days of concentrated care.

She began feeding her babies next to her foster mother, pleased with some comfort and head scratching in the meanwhile.
