Meet Tombii, a beloved neighborhood cat whose calm and quiet demeanor won the hearts of many in Istanbul.
It’s debatable if Tombili possessed his own home, as he was overweight and quite well by everybody.
Passers-by shot and posted a photo of him that he sits in a calm position on the streets, and he quickly became an overnight sensation.
Residents of Istanbul stated he would like lounging and admiring the world go around.
Thus, he was also easygoing and carefree with anyone who wanted to adore, cuddle, enjoy and laugh with him.
Therefore, he was usually eager to stay in his distinctive posture for everyone who wanted to pose for a photograph with him.
Sadly, Tombili passed away in August of an unexplained disease.
Soon after his death, a monument of Tombili was put in his favorite hangout location to honor hid fat and comfy companion.
Therefore, the Tombii’s posture has now been memorialized in the shape of a bronze statue.
Which was unveiled on World Animal Day, October 4, 2016.
With its own statue, it will always be there to remember everyone about Tombili.
