When Eduardo took spaghetti to the vet, the doctor informed him that there was a good risk that spaghetti would not survive.
Ultimately, Eduardo refused to abandon her and just let her die.
Because the dog weighed only 16 kilograms, she needed to be hospitalized on a drip to prevent organ destruction.
That could only wag her tail and move her head as she struggled for her life.
Nonetheless, some minutes later, spaghetti got enough strength to rise up and sip some water.
Staff at the institution suspected that spaghetti and the dog had been shut up since birth.
Slowly but steadily, though, Pasta began to gain weight because she ate from a bowl where she didn’t have to stand up.
Spaghetti soon began eating 5 to twice the recommended per day and was eventually able to stand.
