Carson, a loving Pit Bull, found himself alone at a shelter.
His family decided they’d had enough of him and got rid of him.
Therefore, he did have some allergies that caused skin problems, but he was a wonderful dog.
Understandably, the shelter environment was too much for him.
He shivered violently as he lay in a corner. He didn’t even pause to rest.
Not only that, but he shook so violently that everyone’s hearts shattered.
Carson was discovered by a rescue group called Philly Bully Team.
And a volunteer named Lauren chose to sign him out of the shelter and bring him home.
Carson, she understood, needed to feel protected and would never feel comfortable at a shelter.
Carson acknowledged his savior right away by never leaving her side.
So, Carson followed Lauren everywhere she went.
They were an ideal fit. Lauren saw that this pup need constant comfort, so she provided it.
Lauren, too, thought they were a perfect match and informed the rescue organization that she wanted to make the adoption legal.
They both agreed!
Carson is so happy to be with Lauren that he won’t let her go anywhere without being right on top of her.
Except when she needs to get things done, it’s incredibly adorable.
Working from home, for example! A 60-pound dog on your lap is inconvenient. But Lauren is such a trooper!
