After a difficult shift, an exhausted nurse accidentally got into the car of the most dangerous sheikh and fell asleep in the back seat. But just a few minutes later, she accidentally heard the sheikh give his driver an order in Arabic, convinced that the girl would not understand anything anyway 😨
Leila left the private clinic at almost eleven in the evening.
That day had been much harder than usual. In the morning, one of the nurses did not come to work, so Leila had to work for two people. Almost the entire day, she ran between rooms, changed IV drips, helped the doctors, and spent several hours beside an elderly woman after a complicated surgery.
Toward the end of the shift, several more patients were unexpectedly brought to the clinic, so once again Leila could not leave on time.
When she finally stepped outside, her legs were aching and her eyes were literally closing on their own.
The young woman did not change clothes. She stayed in her white medical uniform, gathered her things, and called a taxi through an app.
A few minutes later, her phone showed that the driver had already arrived.
Several expensive black cars were parked in front of the clinic entrance. Leila looked at her phone screen, then at the cars, and noticed one with the rear door open.
She did not even check the license plate.
— That must be mine, — the girl said quietly and quickly got inside.
A man of about forty was already sitting in the back seat, dressed in expensive traditional clothing. He had a serious face, a neatly trimmed beard, and such a heavy gaze that people usually tried not to look him directly in the eyes.
But Leila was too tired to pay attention to that.
— Sorry, — she murmured as she settled near the door. — I need to go to Al-Marin Street, number eighty-two.
The driver in front froze for a few seconds.
The man beside her slowly turned his head and looked at the girl.
Leila was already closing her eyes.
— I barely slept last night, — she added quietly. — If possible, wake me up when we arrive.
Less than a minute later, the girl fell asleep. The driver looked into the rearview mirror, clearly not knowing what to do.
The car belonged to Sheikh Karim al-Hadid, one of the most influential men in the country. There were many rumors about his family. People said Karim owned dozens of companies, huge areas of land, and several luxurious houses, and that anyone who crossed him later regretted it deeply.
No one got into his car without permission. Especially not a strange girl.
— Sir, should I throw her out? — the driver asked cautiously.
Karim did not answer. He continued looking at the sleeping nurse.
The girl sat with her head tilted slightly toward the window. It was obvious from her face how exhausted she was. She still held her phone in one hand, and a small name badge hung from her uniform.
Karim looked at it more closely.
— Leila, — he read.
The driver looked into the mirror again.
— Maybe she mistook the car for a taxi.
— Obviously, — the sheikh replied coldly.
A few minutes later, the car started moving.
The sound of the engine woke Leila briefly, but she did not open her eyes. She heard the men’s voices in front of her and thought she would soon fall asleep again.
And that was exactly when Karim suddenly switched to Arabic. He was clearly convinced that the girl they had just picked up near a foreign private clinic would not understand anything, even if she was only pretending to sleep. But Leila knew Arabic perfectly, and when she understood exactly what the sheikh was saying in that language, she froze in horror. 😱😢 The continuation of the story can be found in the first comment 👇👇
— Don’t take her to the address she gave, — the sheikh calmly told the driver.
Leila immediately stopped breathing so evenly.
But she did not open her eyes.
— Take her to my country house, — Karim continued. — No one will look for her there until morning.
The driver was silent for a second.
— And if she wakes up?
Karim looked at the girl again.
— Tell her we’re going to her address.
A cold shiver ran down Leila’s back. She understood Arabic perfectly. But the men had no idea.
— Why do you want her, sir? — the driver asked quietly.
Karim answered so calmly, as if he were talking about the most ordinary thing in the world:
— She’s beautiful. We’ll keep her at my place. Maybe she’ll become my fourth wife.
Leila could no longer remain still.
She suddenly opened her eyes and looked first at the sheikh, then at the driver.
— Stop the car!
The driver flinched.
Karim immediately understood from her face what had happened.
— You understand Arabic? — he asked.
— Stop the car right now! — Leila shouted.
The driver became confused and began braking near the side of the road.
As soon as the car had almost stopped, Leila grabbed the door handle, jumped out, and ran toward a brightly lit street without even looking back.
The sheikh remained seated in the back seat, silently watching her run away.
