250 Amish men lift a barn by hand and carry it across an Ohio farm to its new location

While the Amish do not oppose all technology and equipments, they are considerably more conservative and slow to adopt new and modern forms of innovations.

There are roughly 40 Amish associations spread across the United States.

Those small, close-knit societies rely exclusively on themselves — man strength and elbow grease — to manage and perform their varied responsibilities.

Earlier one morning in March 2019, groups of Amish people went to Joseph Hochstetler’s property in Ohio by horse-drawn carriages.

They were only there to perform one task: relocate the pole barn through one side of the property to the other entirely by hand in the middle of winter.

As you see, this is incredible and so amazing!

Who holds and carry, when we have got modern technologies?

Around 250 guys gathered around with all four corners of the building and began lifting and walking it all in one piece.

These women gazed and learned at the same time as the guys twisted and stretched the massive structure.

Until the whole building was securely positioned in its new location across the field, that was approximately 200 feet (60.96 meters) distant.
