After 75 years of waiting a 101-year-old great-grandmother celebrates the birth of her first granddaughter

The 101-year-old grandmother was overjoyed and delighted to meet the youngest member of her family.

Despite the fact, that she’s already got five grandkids, eight great-grandchildren, and six stepchildren.

It is commonly known that grandparents as well as grandchildren have an unrivaled relationship.

This particular link grows stronger over time and offers joy to parents and others in the family.

The most crucial aspect is that grandparents see a reflection of themselves in their grandkids, and their connection is a perfect blend of love, understanding, and fun.

The devastating photos were shot when the elderly mother first saw her great-granddaughter.

The infant was the family’s first grandchild in 75 years, following a 75-year wait.

Gwen Smith, 101, once saw Maeva, who was born on November 24, 2021, in her bedroom at Dene Holm care facility in Northfleet, Kent, Britain, on December 21, 2021.

The Smiths observed as Gwen cradled the beautiful girl in her hands, surrounded by multiple generations of her dynasty.

Gwen was smitten with Maeva and couldn’t take her eyes off her.

“It was a unique event to bring 5 generations altogether,” the Smith family recalled.

The Smiths praised the nursing home management for permitting them to visit due to the epidemic.

Gwen turned 101 a few days later in February 2022, and thus the Smiths stated she was thrilled and honored to welcome a new addition to the family.
