In just three days, Alejandro’s life had turned into a living nightmare. The doctors had done everything they could, but in the end, they lowered their heads and quietly admitted there was no hope left. His little daughter, Emily, was gone, and in that moment, it felt as though his entire world had ceased to exist.
Alejandro had always been known as a man who could never be broken. He had built a massive company from the ground up, survived countless betrayals, won the toughest legal battles, and never feared powerful rivals. But now none of it mattered anymore. On the day of the funeral, the old cathedral was filled with people. Relatives, family friends, and company employees had gathered to say their final goodbye to Emily. Standing beside Alejandro was his younger brother, Daniel. For the past three days, he had barely left the family’s side. He helped organize the funeral, greeted the guests, supported his brother, and constantly repeated:

During the struggle, a small plastic container suddenly slipped out of Daniel’s inside jacket pocket and landed on the stone floor. Everyone fell silent for a moment as it rolled to a stop at Alejandro’s feet.
He slowly picked it up.
Inside was a small children’s inhaler.
Alongside it was a note with Emily’s name written on it.
Alejandro frowned.
“This is… her inhaler…”
He knew it immediately. Emily suffered from a severe allergy, and her doctors had always warned that without this inhaler, an attack could become fatal. She never left home without it.
Every eye turned toward Daniel.
His face instantly turned pale.
“I… I can explain…”
But Alejandro could barely hear him anymore.
“Why did you have it?”
Daniel took a step backward.
“It was an accident…”
“An accident?” Alejandro’s voice trembled. “This inhaler disappeared on the exact day Emily collapsed.”
A deathly silence filled the cathedral.

His final words came out almost as a whisper.
Alejandro slowly lowered his head.

Rocky had never attacked without a reason.
