Law student, 29, marries an 80-year-old retiree, who has grandchildren her own age and says their love is ‘raw and beautiful’ despite the 51-year age gap
A woman who married a man 51 years her senior says he is a ‘very caring’ lover.
But admits she doesn’t play the role of stepmother to her children, who are almost 30 years older than she.
Terzel Rasmus, 29, from Cape Town, South Africa, met Wilson Rasmus, 80, in 2016 at a local newspaper event.
And fell madly in love, and although her husband has grandchildren from her age, she says her love is “raw and beautiful”.

The law student says the couple had a mutual attraction to each other and started dating immediately.
With Wilson wishing he had a younger wife to look after him in his old age.
Meanwhile, Terzel benefits from her husband’s wisdom and life experience.
Her mother and father gave their approval.
And the lovebirds married the following year, organized in a small ceremony, with Wilson’s 56-year-old daughter as best man.
The couple lives with Terzel, financially supporting his wife’s studies.
“Wilson literally came into my life,” Terzel said.
“We met at a local newspaper dance where I was the duty reporter, so I was taking pictures for the event”.
“When I finished working, I settled into the evening to enjoy the dancing.
And Wilson walked across the dance floor to where I was sitting and asked if he could sit down next to me”.

“He noticed I was alone and thought we could share our company”.
