The Filipino Nelson Pepe works on a coconut farm. Unfortunately he is blind and cannot see anything. However, he harvests 60 palm trees every day to feed his family. But of course with help.

Every day Nelson is accompanied home by his five-year-old daughter Jenny, who also accompanies him to the farm. The girl took on the role of her father’s eyes.

Around 3,000,000 people viewed Jenny’s encouraging footage of Nelson walking on a working farm, touching many hearts.

After learning about this tragedy, representatives of ABC-CBN television channel even decided to use money from their own funds to cover his father’s medical expenses.

The fund also wants to help Pepe and his family move to a safer place. The man also received money to start his own business and stop climbing palm trees and risking his life.
