Yu Jianxia, a native of Shanghai, has broken the world record for the second time in a row. The reality is that this lady has very long eyelashes.
Five years ago, the maximum length of her eyelashes was 12.4 centimeters; by 2021, they had already reached 20.5 centimeters. In other words, she set two new world records.
The story of Yu Jianxia is quite remarkable. Her eyelashes were not always so long; in fact, they were quite average, like everyone else’s.
It was only after spending 18 months living in the highlands, away from the noise of the city, that she noticed her lashes starting to thicken in 2013.
Curious about this unusual occurrence, Yu Jianxia consulted several doctors to find a scientific explanation. However, the doctors have nothing to say about it.
They simply put their hands up. I attempted to discover a scientific explanation for this, such as the possibility that it’s in the DNA. No one in her family, however, has such long eyelashes.
Yu Jianxia considers her long lashes to be a genuine miracle. She added that her eyelashes don’t affect her daily routine, and she doesn’t have to spend half an hour in the mirror applying mascara.
