This is the story of Victoria, a 44-year-old woman who tried many times but couldn’t have a baby. She decided to adopt instead and felt better and more hopeful.
Growing up in a large and loving family with four siblings, Victoria couldn’t imagine a life without children.
When she got married during her last year of college to a wonderful man, the only obstacle they faced was their inability to conceive.
When it finally became clear that she would not be able to get pregnant, they were advised to use IV.
And it started: preparation, injections, egg collection, fertilization, and embryo implantation.
But again, after everything, they couldn’t have babies. The doctors suggested trying again, but Victoria’s husband couldn’t bear the emotional stress any longer.
After six years of marriage, Victoria found herself alone and faced with a life-altering decision. It was then that she seriously considered adopting a child.
Victoria began the process of collecting adoption documents. And finally, she became a mother. In her own words, she now considers herself the happiest mother in the world.
