Samantha Griffen, Luna’s owner, lived in a large house in Marion, Indiana, United States.
According to a report from WRTV, Samantha welcomed Luna last year. The two-year-old puppy was adopted from a shelter and became a devoted forever friend.
Luna, a beautiful Siberian husky, saved the whole family. Upon smelling the strong odor of gas, the dog became very agitated and started jumping here and there.
The mother was concerned about the behavior of the little dog. It was then that she noticed that the carbon monoxide detector, that is to say CO1, had gone off.
She understood that Luna was trying to warn about the gas leak from the water heater, which was spreading throughout the house.
“If he hadn’t insisted on taking me outside, I would have fallen asleep and probably wouldn’t have woken up,” Samantha said.
After the dog alerted and discovered the gas leak, the woman quickly took the children out of the house and contacted the responsible company and the fire department.
When firefighters and technicians arrived at her home, they were impressed by the high CO1 levels.
From this episode on, Samantha and Luna’s friendly bonds grew stronger and the two became inseparable.
The woman said she would always be grateful to her canine friend. Now the dog has become dearer to him.
