The famous “Mad Max” stuntman, Grant Page, has died at the age of 85 in a violent car accident. He was driving alone when he crashed into a tree, prompting a quick response from police and firefighters.
Although emergency services arrived quickly on the scene, the star did not survive his injuries.
His son Leroy, 49, paid tribute to his father, calling him a “legend” and mentioning that he was still working on several upcoming film projects.
“He was in a joyful and energetic state of mind,” Leroy told the *Daily Mail Australia*. The crash, which occurred this Thursday in New South Wales, remains mysterious.
Australian film critic Luke Buckmaster praised Page’s courage and audacity, stating that his legacy was “marked by tire tracks and blisters.”
One of his signature moves, called the “Transfer,” involved jumping from one car to another while they were both speeding down the road.
Grant Page is survived by his four sons, Leroy, Adrian (52), Jeremy (51), and Gulliver (47), as well as his ex-wife Joy and former partner Ulli, all deeply saddened by his passing.
