A little girl called the police and said her father was under the floor of their house. At first, the officers didn’t believe the child, but when they arrived and began pulling up the wooden floor in the living room, they discovered something horrifying 😱😨
That day, the police station received a very strange call. On the other end of the line was a little girl who was crying and begging for help.
“Please come to our house. My daddy is under the floor, and I’m very scared.”
At first, the officer thought the child had simply gotten something mixed up.
“Sweetheart, where are your parents right now? Can you get an adult?”
“Mommy is sleeping, and Daddy hasn’t been home for five days. But I know where he is. He’s under the floor in our living room.”
The officer asked the girl to calm down and explain how she knew that.
“I dreamed about Daddy. He was standing next to the couch and saying he was very cold. Then he pointed at the floor and asked me to find him.”
The officer on duty exchanged a glance with his colleague. The story sounded strange, but the girl kept crying and repeating that her father had never stayed away from home for so long.
When the officer asked what her mother had said, the child replied that her father had supposedly gone to work in another city and would be back soon.
However, the girl insisted that Daddy had never left without saying goodbye to her.
The officers decided to check the address, although they didn’t yet have any concrete reason to suspect a crime.
About twenty minutes later, a police car stopped outside a small two-story house.
A woman in her forties opened the door. When she saw the officers, she visibly paled but quickly regained her composure.
“Has something happened? Why are you here?”
One of the officers explained that her daughter had called them to report her father missing.

“Please forgive me. My daughter has a very vivid imagination. My husband is away on business, and she misses him terribly and keeps making up stories.”
Just then, a little girl in a floral dress came running out of the next room.
“You came! I knew you’d believe me!”
She grabbed one of the officers by the hand and pulled him into the living room.
“Daddy is here. I’ll show you exactly where.”
The girl stopped beside a large rug and pointed at the wooden floor.

The officers noticed that several floorboards were noticeably different in color from the others.
“Have you had any renovations done recently?” one of them asked.
The woman immediately replied that workers had replaced the damaged flooring a few days earlier.
“And who exactly did the work?” the officer asked.
“My husband did everything himself. He was good at that sort of thing.”
One of the officers crouched down and examined the boards closely. There were traces of fresh building material between them, and some of the nails had been driven in very recently.
The officer then asked for permission to inspect the space beneath the floor, but the woman suddenly raised her voice.
“I won’t let you destroy my house just because a child had some stupid dream!”
Her reaction struck the officers as suspicious.
They asked the woman to step aside and began looking into the circumstances of her husband’s disappearance. They soon learned that none of his relatives had spoken to him in the past five days and that he hadn’t shown up at work at all.
The officers then contacted their superiors and obtained the necessary authorization to conduct a search.
By the time additional officers arrived, the woman was sitting on the couch, nervously picking at the hem of her sweater.
The officers removed the rug and began carefully pulling up the wooden floor.
Beneath the boards, they first found a layer of construction debris, followed by pieces of old concrete and a large amount of soil.
But the deeper they dug, the stronger a strange, unpleasant smell became.
One of the officers suddenly stopped.
“Wait, I think there’s something here.”
He carefully moved aside a few pieces of concrete and spotted the edge of some thick black plastic.
When the officers cleared the area and cut open the wrapping, a horrifying sight lay before them.
Beneath the floor lay the body of an adult man.
The girl was immediately taken out of the room, while her mother tried to run out of the house, but the officers stopped her.
Later, a forensic examination confirmed that the man they had found was the girl’s father.
During questioning, the wife confessed that they had had a heated argument a few days earlier. Her husband had planned to divorce her and take their daughter with him because he had discovered the debts she had been hiding.
In a fit of rage, the woman had struck her husband with a heavy object. He had fallen and never gotten up again.
Afraid of being punished, she had decided to hide the body. The house was being renovated at the time, and part of the living room floor had already been removed.
During the night, the woman had dug deeper beneath the floorboards, hidden her husband’s body there, and covered everything with construction debris. In the morning, she had finished laying the new flooring.
She had been certain that no one would ever discover the truth.
But there was one detail she hadn’t considered. That night, her little daughter had woken up to a loud noise and seen her mother hiding something beneath the floor. Still half asleep, the child hadn’t understood what was happening, and by morning she remembered almost nothing.
A few days later, the girl dreamed of her father pointing to that very spot in the living room.
It was after that dream that she finally found the courage to call the police.
When the investigator asked the girl why she had been so certain that her father was beneath the floor, she quietly replied:
“Because Daddy promised he would never leave me. I knew he couldn’t have just gone away like that.”
