The mafia boss, determined to punish an insolent waitress, ordered her thrown into the ring with his strongest fighter, who had sent many opponents to the hospital. No one could even imagine what the young woman would do đąđ¨
The most influential mafia boss owned numerous profitable businesses. He had expensive restaurants, nightclubs, casinos, and several large companies, but most of all, he enjoyed spending his evenings at his secret underground fight club.
The place was beneath a luxurious old building that ordinary people could not enter. Every evening, wealthy businessmen, influential officials, and people accustomed to solving every problem with money gathered there.
In the middle of the enormous hall stood an octagonal ring surrounded by metal fencing. Around it were elegant tables where guests drank alcohol, smoked cigars, and placed enormous bets.
There were practically no rules. The fighters entered the ring for money, while spectators paid huge sums to watch brutal matches.
The police knew perfectly well that the establishment existed, but preferred to turn a blind eye because the clubâs owner generously paid the right people.
The mafia boss himself was a cruel, hot-tempered man. He tolerated no objections and believed everyone was obliged to follow his orders.
He was especially proud of his top fighter, an enormous, muscular athlete who had not lost a single match in several years.
That evening, the club was packed. Guests were talking loudly, waitresses were serving drinks, and preparations were underway in the ring for the next fight.
Among the staff was a young woman who had started working there only a few days earlier. She knew almost nothing about the owner and was simply trying to do her job well.
She was short, slender, and looked completely harmless. She walked calmly between the tables with a tray, trying not to get in anyoneâs way.
At one point, the waitress was carrying several glasses when one of the guests suddenly pushed his chair out directly in front of her.
She stumbled, lost her balance, and accidentally spilled a drink onto the expensive black suit of a man standing nearby.
âOh my God, please forgive me! It was a complete accident!â she said, frightened.
The man slowly looked down at his wet jacket, then raised his eyes to the waitress.
âDo you even watch where youâre going?â he demanded loudly.
âIâm sorry, I didnât see the chair. Iâll clean everything up right away.â
âDo you have any idea who youâre talking to?â
The young woman looked at him, bewildered.
âI donât know who you are, but Iâve already apologized several times.â
At those words, several men at the next table fell silent.
âDo you have any idea how much this suit costs? How are you going to pay for it?â
âI can take your clothes to the dry cleanerâs, if youâd like.â
The man laughed loudly.
âThe dry cleanerâs? You think you can ruin my clothes and just walk away?â
The young woman began to grow nervous, but still replied:
âIâve calmly explained that it was an accident. Why do you keep shouting at me?â
The manâs expression changed instantly. He was not used to ordinary employees speaking to him that way, especially in front of his guests.
âSo now youâve decided to argue with me, too?â
He summoned two guards and pointed toward the ring.
âTake her over there. Tonight, sheâll earn the money for my new suit herself.â
At first, the young woman thought he was joking, but the guards had already approached her.
âWait, are you serious? I havenât done anything wrong!â
But no one even tried to stand up for her.
A minute later, she was standing inside the metal cage, facing an enormous man with tattoos across his chest and arms.
He was almost two heads taller than the waitress, and his arms looked thicker than her legs.
When the spectators realized what was happening, the hall erupted in laughter.
âI bet ten thousand she wonât last even thirty seconds!â one guest shouted.
âAnd Iâm betting twenty thousand she goes down with the first punch!â another replied.
The mafia boss settled comfortably into his armchair and smiled with satisfaction.
âJust donât finish too quickly. Let her understand how sheâs supposed to speak to me first.â
The young woman stood by the fence, staring at her opponent. Her hands trembled slightly, and her eyes were wide open.
âPlease let me out. I only came here to work,â she pleaded quietly.
But instead of an answer, the signal to begin the fight rang out.
The enormous man smirked and slowly approached the waitress. The spectators rose from their seats, expecting the match to end in a matter of seconds. But at that very moment, something happened that left every spectator frozen in horror đąđł You can find the rest of the story in the first comment đđ
The fighter swung, but the young woman unexpectedly took a quick step to the side.
The man missed and turned toward her in surprise.
The spectators laughed even louder, convinced she had simply been lucky.
He tried to grab her again, but she deftly twisted away, moved behind him, and delivered a sharp kick to his supporting leg.
The enormous fighter lost his balance and dropped to one knee.
The hall grew noticeably quieter.
The man sprang to his feet and charged forward in a rage, but the young woman suddenly caught his arm, used his own momentum, and threw him over her hip.
His heavy body crashed onto the ringâs mat.
Before the fighter could get up, the waitress was beside him. She secured his arm and applied an armlock.
The man tried to break free, but every movement only increased the pressure.
Within seconds, he began desperately tapping the floor with his free hand, signaling his surrender.
Complete silence fell over the enormous hall.
The mafia boss slowly rose from his armchair, unable to believe his eyes. His unbeatable fighter was lying on the floor, while an ordinary waitress stood calmly beside him.
âWho are you, anyway?â the man finally asked.
The young woman straightened her tousled hair and looked him directly in the eyes.
âI used to be a professional athlete. I wrestled for seven years and competed internationally. But after a serious injury, I had to give up the sport.â
She paused briefly, then added:
âNow I need money for my motherâs treatment, which is why I took a job here as a waitress. I didnât want to humiliate anyone, much less fight, but you left me no choice.â
The mafia boss stared at her, not knowing what to say.
She calmly walked over to the cage door and said:
âI hope thatâs enough money for your suit now. May I get back to work?â
And for the first time in many years, the man feared by the entire city could not utter a single word.
