A tragic road accident occurred on Friday, August 19, around 5:30 PM on the D9, near Puilboreau. A 37-year-old man, originally from Dompierre-sur-Mer, lost his life. He was driving alone in his vehicle at the time of the collision.
The crash, particularly violent, involved three vehicles and caused several injuries. Four people sustained minor injuries, while a 98-year-old man was seriously hurt. All those affected were quickly transported to the La Rochelle hospital for necessary treatment.
