Originally, they had considered tiling the walls, but they ultimately opted for laminate, which added a unique touch and ambiance to the room. The niche was highlighted by a column that separates the kitchen furniture from the appliances, allowing them to stack the microwave and oven to save space.
As for the lower cabinets, the owners chose not to install upper cabinets. Instead, they put up open shelves to store everything they need. The color of the furniture perfectly harmonizes with the shade of the laminate, which, while less expensive than tiles, offers just as attractive a look.
