Hooligans in a dark alley attacked a defenseless girl, trying to rob her and using force, but what happened a few minutes later made them freeze in horror đąđ˛
The waitress was returning home after a very difficult shift. On normal days she tried not to take night shifts, but that day a colleague asked her to cover for him, and Emma couldnât refuse. When she finally left the restaurant, there was almost no one on the street, and it was around one in the morning.
Emma didnât live in the best neighborhood of the city, and to get to her home she had to walk through a long dark alley. That alley always frightened her even during the day, and at night it looked completely gloomy.
When she reached the beginning of the alley, Emma stopped for a moment, took the keys out of her bag, and squeezed them between her fingers. She always did this when she felt anxious. She knew it wasnât a real weapon, but it at least gave her the feeling that she could defend herself.
After taking a few cautious steps, she moved forward. At first everything was quiet. Only her footsteps echoed between the walls.
And suddenly, a huge black cat jumped out from under the trash bins.
Emma flinched and quietly exhaled. Her heart started beating faster for a moment, but she immediately tried to calm herself and kept walking.
She had almost passed half of the alley when two men appeared ahead of her from the darkness.
They stood right in the middle of the path, as if they had been waiting for her. Both were large, muscular, with tattoos on their arms. From their faces and their cloudy eyes it was clear that they were drunk.
âHello, beautifulâŚâ one of them drawled with a crooked smile. âWhere are you going at this hour?â
Emma didnât answer. She simply tried to go around them and pass by.
But the men immediately stepped forward and blocked her way.
At that moment one of them noticed the keys clenched in her hand.
He smirked and nodded to his friend.
âLook at thatâŚâ he said. âShe thinks she can stop someone with that.â
They both began laughing loudly.
âAnd with that you hoped to disarm a criminal?â the second one continued, tilting his head mockingly. âSeriously?â
Emma remained silent, feeling everything inside her tighten with tension.
âTake off your jacket,â the first one suddenly said sharply. âAnd take everything out of your pockets. Phone, money. Everything.â
âIâm not giving you anything,â Emma replied quietly.
And that was her biggest mistake. After those words, the menâs faces changed instantly. Their smiles disappeared, and anger appeared in their eyes.
One of them stepped closer, grabbed Emma by the collar of her jacket, and jerked her roughly toward him.
âListen carefully,â he growled right into her face. âRight now you give us everything nicely. Or this will end very badly for you.â
At that moment they were sure they completely controlled the situation. Neither of them had the slightest idea what would happen just a few seconds later. đąđ˛ Continuation in the first comment đđ
âI said no,â Emma repeated calmly.
The guys exchanged a glance and lunged at her. But everything happened so fast that they didnât even have time to understand what had happened.
Emma twisted free from the grip and with one precise movement struck the first man in the solar plexus. The man bent over and collapsed to his knees. The second tried to grab her arm, but she instantly turned, kicked him in the knee, and shoved him with her shoulder.
Within seconds both of them were lying on the cold asphalt.
One was breathing heavily, the other was groaning while trying to get up. Emma stood above them, breathing hard.
A few years earlier she had been an athlete and had even earned the title of Master of Sports. But a serious injury forced her to leave her career and start a new life.
The guys didnât know that.
She quickly looked around, made sure no one else was nearby, and without losing a second ran toward the end of the alley.
Because Emma understood one very simple thing. She managed to deal with them this time. But who knows what people like that are capable of once they recover.
