The sheikh humiliated a waitress in front of his business partners, calling her “a stupid servant,” but he could not even imagine what an ordinary waitress would do in response 😨

Sheikh Omar came to one of the most expensive restaurants in the city not just to have dinner. That evening, three foreign businessmen were sitting at the table with him, men with whom he had been discussing a major contract for several months.

Omar desperately wanted to impress his partners. He talked about his companies, expensive cars, and real estate, constantly mentioned influential acquaintances, and spoke so loudly that it seemed he wanted to be heard not only at his table but throughout the entire restaurant.

When it was time to order, one of the men called the waitress over.

A young woman in a strict black suit and white shirt approached the table. She greeted them politely, opened her notepad, and prepared to take the order.

At first, everything went normally.

The guests named their dishes, the young woman calmly wrote down their requests and asked how they wanted their meat cooked. Omar ordered last.

He spoke deliberately slowly and with an important look on his face, glancing at his partners from time to time.

— I’ll have Rossini fillet with Madeira sauce.

The young woman wrote down the order.

Omar suddenly gave a mocking smile.

— Wait.

The waitress looked up.

— Yes, sir?

— Do you even know what Rossini fillet is?

The young woman was about to answer, but Omar did not let her say a word.

— Though why am I asking? You probably don’t know. You’re just an ordinary stupid servant. All you know how to do is carry plates back and forth and smile at customers.

The table became uncomfortable.

One of the partners stopped smiling, while another lowered his eyes to the menu.

But Omar, on the contrary, felt even more confident.

— People like you always pretend to understand everything, he continued. — Say a slightly more complicated name, and you immediately get lost. So just write it down and pass it on to the chef. Don’t try to pretend you’re smart.

The young woman looked at him silently for several seconds.

There was neither anger nor confusion on her face.

For some reason, that irritated Omar even more.

— What is it? Did I offend you? he asked with a mocking smile. — Then you should choose another job. In a good restaurant, you need to know how to tolerate customers. It is thanks to people like me that you get a salary at all.

One of the businessmen said quietly:

— Omar, I think that is enough.

— Oh, come on, the sheikh laughed. — I’m just explaining to this person where her place is.

After those words, the waitress closed her notepad.

And for the first time during the entire conversation, she smiled. But now her smile was completely different. Then she suddenly did something that left the whole restaurant, and even the sheikh himself, in complete shock 😳😧 The continuation of the story can be found in the first comment 👇👇

— You are right, sir. Every person truly should know their place.

Omar looked at her in surprise. The young woman turned to his business partners.

— Gentlemen, forgive me for interfering in your business, but if I were in your place, I would think several times before signing a contract with this man.

The smile vanished from the sheikh’s face.

— What did you say?

But the waitress continued calmly:

— A person shows their true character best not when they speak to those they need something from, but when they deal with those they consider beneath them.

Silence fell over the table.

— Do you understand who you are talking to? Omar hissed.

— I understand perfectly well.

The young woman placed her notepad on the table.

— And you were wrong about me as well. I have two university degrees, I speak four languages fluently, and Rossini fillet is beef fillet with foie gras and truffles, usually served with a rich sauce. So yes, I know the dish you ordered very well.

Omar wanted to say something, but the young woman added:

— And one last thing. I do not work here as a waitress.

The sheikh frowned.

— What do you mean?

— This restaurant belongs to my husband. Today, one of the waitresses got sick, there were not enough staff members, so I decided to help the team for a few hours.

Omar froze. But the real blow was still ahead. The young woman looked at his partners.

— I often attend my husband’s meetings with investors, and I know one simple truth: a lot of money does not make a person great. And if someone humiliates a restaurant employee simply because they think there will be no consequences, I would read very carefully any contract they propose for signing.

Michael slowly put down the pen with which, just a few minutes earlier, he had been about to sign the preliminary documents. The other partner did the same.

— I think we really should discuss everything again, Michael said coldly. — Without rushing.

Omar’s face changed.

— Are you serious? Because of some waitress?

Michael looked him straight in the eyes.

— No, Omar. Because of the way you behave toward a person you consider “just some waitress.”

The sheikh was no longer smiling.
