When the new inmate arrived at the women’s prison, the most dangerous prisoner immediately knocked her to the floor and dumped a bucket of ice-cold water over her, calling it an initiation ritual. She had no idea who that quiet newcomer really was or how it would all end for her… 😱
When I was brought to the women’s prison, I immediately realized that no one there cared who you were or why you had ended up behind bars. Everyone was hated equally. It didn’t matter whether you were guilty or innocent, whether you had made a terrible mistake or had simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time. To the others, you were just another inmate they could humiliate.
No one knew my story. No one asked who I had been before. Yet from the very first minute, they looked at me with such hatred, as if I had personally done something to every single one of them. Even though, if we’re being honest, many of those women were no better than I was.
For the first few days, I tried not to speak to anyone. I did everything silently, never argued, and avoided looking anyone in the eye. I thought that if I gave them no reason, they would leave me alone. But I quickly realized that, in that place, silence was seen as weakness.
During recreation time, the most feared and respected inmate walked over to me. She was a huge woman with a cold, intimidating stare that made everyone uncomfortable. The other prisoners immediately stepped aside, as if they were afraid of even accidentally standing in her way.
She stopped right in front of me and smirked.
“Well, newbie… Are you ready for your initiation?”
“What initiation?” I asked calmly.
She burst into loud laughter.
“Everyone here has gone through it. Now it’s your turn.”
Within seconds, I was surrounded from all sides. Someone shoved me in the shoulder, someone else tripped me, and I fell onto the wet concrete floor. Laughter echoed above me.
Then they dumped a bucket of ice-cold water over me. The freezing water felt like it was burning my entire body. Some of them clapped, while the ringleader smiled with satisfaction.
“This is only the beginning,” she said. “Now you’re going to crawl all the way down this corridor. And if you stop for even a second, you’ll regret it.”
I slowly raised my head and looked her straight in the eyes. She had no idea who I really was or what was about to happen just a few minutes later. 😲😱 You can find Part Two of this story in the first comment. 👇👇
“Are you sure you want to keep going?”
She took a step closer.
“Are you threatening me now?”
I didn’t answer. Calmly, I pulled a small folded sheet of paper from my pocket. It had been handed to me immediately after my transfer. All this time, I had deliberately made sure no one saw it.
“What’s that?” she asked, frowning.
“My transfer order,” I said quietly. “Only not as an ordinary inmate.”
She snatched the paper from my hand, quickly read a few lines, and suddenly turned pale.
“That… that’s impossible…”
At that moment, the cell block door swung open. The prison warden walked in with several officers.
He came straight over to me, helped me to my feet, and said loudly enough for everyone to hear:
“My apologies. We didn’t have time to inform the staff. This is a new Internal Security Division officer who was sent here undercover to investigate the abuse of inmates.”
The corridor fell so silent that everyone could hear the water dripping from my clothes.
The woman who had been pinning me to the floor with her foot just a minute earlier slowly took a step back.
The warden calmly turned to the officers and said:
“The surveillance footage has already been secured. Separate everyone involved in this incident. We’re going to have a very long conversation.”
Only then did they finally realize that I wasn’t the one going through the initiation that day.
They were.
