Just a few years ago, this house only brought sadness: an old, dilapidated cottage with a sunken roof and walls darkened by time.
It seemed that it wouldnāt stand much longer ā and would soon disappear from the face of the earth. Inside, the situation was even worse: dampness, dust, sagging floors.
But the situation changed in 2017. Thatās when an entrepreneurial couple, inspired by rural architecture, took notice of the house.
Thanks to their efforts, the house was transformed beyond recognition.
On the outside ā a neat, harmonious faƧade, carefully restored window frames, a new roof. The wall color blends with the greenery of the garden.
The interior is tastefully decorated: here youāll find restored brickwork, original furniture, and a cupboard that replaced modern kitchen cabinets.
The kitchen is connected to the living room, and in the corner, thereās a spot where youād love to sit with a cup of coffee and a book. Whitewashed walls, wooden doors, exposed wiring ā all together create an atmosphere thatās close to the authentic but very comfortable.
Five bedrooms ā each with its own character. In one, thereās an oriental rug at the head of the bed.
The veranda deserves special attention as it has been transformed into a spacious living-dining room with many windows. Light, air, wood ā everything works for the feeling of freedom and peace.
The kitchen area next to it ā simple but functional. Even the sink and kettle look appropriate here, rather than just being obligatory household items.
The house now has two bathrooms. At one point, there wasnāt even water here ā everything was done outside. But now ā cleanliness, warmth, pleasant details.
