A serious incident took place in Székesfehérvár: a 16-year-old boy was hit by a car whose driver fled the scene. On Thursday evening, a tragic accident occurred in Székesfehérvár, in front of the county police station located at 2 Deák Ferenc Street.
The accident happened around 7:05 PM, and the driver left the scene without providing assistance, leaving the adolescent seriously injured. The boy has been hospitalized in critical condition, on respiratory support, and in a deep coma.
His family and the community are anxiously awaiting news, while the police have begun their investigation.
The boy’s mother shared details of this tragic incident on social media, stating that her son was crossing the pedestrian crossing with friends when a blue Skoda car struck him.
According to her account, the boy hit the windshield and hood of the vehicle before being thrown six meters and landing on the concrete.
The driver left the scene without slowing down, leaving the boy behind. “He hit the windshield, then the hood, and after six meters, he fell onto the concrete. The deadly vehicle left without braking, abandoning my son like a used tissue!
His shoes were scattered about twenty meters away,” the mother wrote, expressing her deep pain and indignation over the incident.
