Pets are small creatures full of love and innocence; they can provide affection, comfort, and joy that many people cannot. Unfortunately, these little animals sometimes find themselves alone, without an owner to protect and care for them.

That’s why a 75-year-old man goes to an animal shelter every day to sleep with the cats.

It’s well-known that cats love cuddles and long naps. They sleep between 12 and 16 hours a day and can nap anywhere, anytime! But many people don’t know that these little creatures love to sleep with their owners. So there’s nothing better to please your little cat than letting it sleep with you from time to time.

This is what motivated the 75-year-old man to visit an animal shelter every day to spend a few hours sleeping with neglected cats. A few days ago, Save Haven Pet Sanctuary, a rescue center for animals in the U.S., had the brilliant idea to share photos of one of their volunteers napping with the shelter cats.

Within just a few hours of their publication, the photos went viral, touching the hearts of thousands of internet users worldwide! According to the shelter’s director, the man in question is a 75-year-old American retiree who has been visiting the shelter every day for the past 6 months.

He spends at least 3 hours a day with the shelter’s cats, playing with them, cuddling them, and eventually falling asleep next to them. Despite all the praise from the shelter staff and online users, this generous man insists that taking care of these little furry friends is normal for him and that it brings him joy, peace, and fulfillment.
