The old piece of furniture, covered in damaged varnish and peeling paint, was transformed into a modern and adorable decorative piece in a Scandinavian style.

Marina, the owner of the table, cut a new back panel for the furniture using a jigsaw.
On the door, I attached slats, then adjusted the edges with a sander.

I applied a ceramic mosaic to the top surface. The old holes were filled in.

Next, I sanded, primed, and painted both the table and its legs. For the back panel, I glued wallpaper onto a plywood sheet.

Finally, I nailed the back and screwed the handles onto the doors. At the end of this transformation, the nightstand completely changed its appearance.

It is now a light gray shade, with a white mosaic on top. This design fits perfectly into a modern Scandinavian-style interior.

The final result is simply superb! The nightstand is very modern and elegant, and the ceramic mosaic adds an original touch and unique charm to it.
