But the shock came only when the ring was sent for appraisal… The platinum and diamond engagement ring was valued at 40,000 euros at a jewelry store! The first thought of some people might be: “Where should I go on vacation first?” but Joseph had no intention of selling the ring. He started searching for the owners by calling all the local jewelers.
He soon found them; the woman to whom the ring belonged started crying on the phone when she heard the news. Joseph soon met with the couple who had lost their ring and returned it to them.
Now, you might be wondering what reward he received for this noble act. In response, Joseph received kind words and hugs. “Everyone should lay aside treasures found on earth to accumulate treasures in heaven,” wrote one user.
