Can you imagine becoming friends with a bear? It might sound crazy, but this kind woman stumbled upon this abandoned creature and couldn’t remain indifferent to its suffering.

An unexpected meeting literally changed their destinies forever.

Veronica Dichka’s life changed the day she met Archie while walking in the woods. During her hike, this brave and adventurous young woman spotted a lonely bear cub. Moved by his plight, she decided to give him a second chance.

Archie was left homeless after the local zoo closed in 2019. They were even going to put him down. Born in captivity, the bear cub didn’t know how to survive in the wild. Veronica, touched by his fate, decided to adopt him.

Seeing her passion for animals and the bond Archie had formed with her, the authorities granted her request. Despite the challenges, she cared for him with love and dedication, raising him as if he were her own child.

For those who don’t know her, this beautiful blonde is a famous Russian competitive dancer who even won the Junior World Champion title in 2014. Now, at 28 years old, she lives in Novosibirsk with this huge 600 kg bear.

On her Instagram account, Veronica regularly shares stunning photos of her impressive four-legged friend.

“Archie sees me as a family member. We share food, he sleeps in my arms, and he even hides behind me when he’s scared. He’s a wild animal, but I’m not afraid to be with him,” she proudly explains.
