Today, we bring you the inspiring story of a Polish civil engineer living in Lubaczew. One day, he learned that an 80-year-old woman named Aniela was living alone in an old house in the forest, without electricity or running water. Krzysztof Kopech and his wife brought Aniela food and clothing. What happened next can be described as a true fairy tale.
The first impression of Aniela’s house was far from positive. The house resembled more of a rickety shack than a proper home. Without gas or electricity, the floor was made of concrete and dirt, and there was only one window, leaving the house in constant darkness.
Using their professional skills, the couple devised a renovation plan for the house. Krzysztof, a civil engineer, and his wife, an architect, applied their expertise and launched a crowdfunding campaign on social media to fund the renovation.
When Aniela returned home, she didn’t recognize her house. Moved to tears by the transformation, she could hardly contain her emotions. Can such generosity really exist in real life?
