They decided to adopt a child to brighten their lives. The couple welcomed a four-year-old boy named Michael Clark.

After a year, Andrea and Dave were finally able to adopt the child.

To celebrate this special day, little Michael invited his entire kindergarten class, along with his teacher, Ms. McKee, to be witnesses. Ms. McKee was happy to help organize this incredible outing.

Michael loved his teacher and classmates very much, and their presence at the ceremony was important to him.

The judge acknowledged the special guests present in her courtroom that day. The class had prepared paper hearts attached to wooden sticks as a sign of their support for their friend.

Judge Gardener officially finalized the adoption of the five-year-old, stating, “Michael, your mom and dad are now David Eaton and Andrea Melvin.”

After the adoption ceremony, the new family was interviewed by ABC News.

Michael told reporters that he loved his parents.

The new parents encouraged couples who have decided to adopt children.

Everyone in the courtroom was full of emotion. Michael now has a family, and all his classmates are happy for their friend who has found a forever family.
