A teenager became the hero of the day after saving a woman from her car submerged in a lake

A 15-year-old from Michigan named John Agnello was fishing with his mother in Lake St. Clair. The lake is located between the Canadian province of Ontario and the U.S. state of Michigan.

Suddenly, John saw a car plunge into the water.

Without wasting any time, the brave young man jumped into the water šŸŠ to rescue the people inside. šŸ¤

Later, John told WXYZ 7 that he had seen a car flying through the air. The vehicle was 15 feet underwater and was almost fully submerged.

The teenager saw a woman inside and to pull her out, he had to go through a window because the door wouldn’t open.

After saving the woman, the selfless boy dove back in to check if there were any other people in the car. Fortunately, there were not.

Later, John explained that the only thing that scared him a bit was being underwater inside the car.

It wasn’t easy to get out, but luckily everything went well.

While John was saving the woman, his mother, Beth Agnello, called 911. Once out of the water, the driver was taken to the hospital for examination.

After saving the woman, the teenager became the hero of the day.

Beth was thrilled that people considered him a hero. The mother explained that she and her husband had always taught John how to be a good person.
