British Singer Suggests People Over 40 Should Stay Out of Nightclubs

Tallia Storm, a British singer now 25, made headlines at 22 when she proposed that nightclubs should be exclusive to younger people.

Her suggestion was widely criticized, notably by 78-year-old DJ Tony Blackburn, who called it “ridiculous.”

Storm shared with Metro that she believes nightclubs should only cater to those under 40.

She explained that while she supports the idea of everyone living life to the fullest, she doesn’t want to encounter older individuals like her father or grandfather on the dance floor.

“They should leave clubbing to us young people, and there are plenty of other places for them to go,” she said.

However, the singer’s viewpoint didn’t sit well with everyone. British Singer Suggests People Over 40 Should Stay Out of Nightclubs.

Tony Blackburn argued that if you take this idea to its logical extreme, it would mean excluding all the DJs in Ibiza, who are all over 40. “Would you stop them from performing? It’s absurd,” he said, expressing confusion over why people over 40 should be barred from nightclubs.
