The wife climbed onto a chair in the middle of an expensive restaurant, raised a glass of champagne above her head, and loudly announced, “I’ll spend the night with the man who gets my husband kicked out of here.” The guests started laughing, while her husband turned pale from humiliation. That evening, Viktor decided to surprise his wife a little and invited her to one of the most expensive restaurants in the city.
Larisa loved places like that. She spent a long time choosing her dress, had an expensive hairstyle done, and on the way to the restaurant she asked her husband several times to take pictures of her.
The first half hour was calm.

— Well? — she repeated. — I married a complete loser and I’m supposed to be happy about it too.
Viktor looked at her and noticed that the people around them were already listening to their conversation.
— Please, behave normally.
Those words finally made Larisa furious. She suddenly grabbed her champagne glass and climbed straight onto the chair. Now almost the entire restaurant was looking at her.

Viktor sat completely still. His face turned red, and his fingers tightened around the glass.
He understood that his wife was simply trying to humiliate him in front of strangers, but it took enormous effort for him to control himself.
Suddenly, a man around thirty-five years old stood up from a table at the far end of the room.
He calmly walked closer and looked at Larisa.
— Are you sure about your offer?
The woman smirked.

But the man dialed a number and calmly said:

Larisa stopped smiling.
— Who was that?
The man put his phone back into his pocket.
— My construction crew. Fifteen workers are finishing their shift nearby right now. You said you would spend the night with the man who gets your husband thrown out. I decided not to take any chances and call for backup.
Laughter came from several tables. But Larisa no longer found it funny at all.
— Are you crazy? I was joking!
— Strange, — the man replied calmly. — A minute ago you said you were absolutely sure.
— Don’t call anyone! I don’t need anyone!
At that moment, Viktor suddenly started laughing. For the first time all evening, he looked completely calm.
The man slowly stood up from the table, put on his jacket, and left money for dinner beside his plate.
Larisa jumped down from the chair.
— Viktor, where are you going?

— Home. You can stay. You just found someone who is ready to fulfill your condition.
