Trying to get rid of his pregnant wife, the man left her alone in the forest without food or water: the woman lay there with her eyes closed, not even noticing as a wolf emerged from the shadows… and then something truly terrifying happened 😮😳
For a long time, the husband pretended that everything was fine, but deep inside he had already made his decision. He was afraid of responsibility, afraid of the unborn child, afraid that his life would change forever. His debts were growing, his job was hanging by a thread, and one thought kept circling in his mind: if he got rid of the problem now, everything would be easier later. At first, he tried to convince himself that he would simply leave, disappear, but then he decided that wasn’t enough. He wanted her to never return to his life.
That day, he was strangely calm. He said they needed to get out of the city, get some fresh air. The woman believed him, although deep down she already felt uneasy. The road led deeper and deeper into the forest, the signal disappeared, and everything around them became quieter and colder. The car stopped in a narrow clearing where there were no houses and no roads.
— Why did we come here? — she asked quietly.
He didn’t answer right away. He simply got out of the car, walked around it, opened the door on her side, and said sharply:
— Get out.
She looked at him, not understanding what was happening, but there was something чужое and cold in his gaze. The woman stepped out, pressing her hands against her stomach. Then he took a step back, got into the car, and without looking at her, said:
— I can’t live like this. Figure it out yourself.
At first, she didn’t believe it. She stepped closer, grabbed the door, and began speaking quickly and incoherently, begging:
— Please, don’t do this… I won’t make it, I feel sick… we’re going to have a child…
He didn’t listen. He slammed the door, pressed the gas, and the car disappeared among the trees, leaving only the sound of the engine, which quickly faded into silence.
At first, she stood there, as if she didn’t understand what had happened. Then she started walking, hoping to find a road. She walked for a long time, almost without stopping. The forest looked the same everywhere, the trees stood like a wall, there were no paths. Her legs began to ache, her breathing became heavy, her stomach hurt more and more.
After a few hours, her strength began to fade. She felt hunger, thirst, dizziness. At some point, the woman simply sank to the ground near a fallen tree, leaned against it, and closed her eyes, trying to rest at least a little.
The sun was already setting, and the forest was growing darker. At first, strange sounds appeared—branches cracking, leaves rustling, as if someone was walking nearby but unseen. Then, somewhere far away, a long howl echoed. The woman curled up, trying not to move. Her heart was beating fast, her hands were trembling.
— Please… help me… — she whispered, barely audible.
She tried not to fall asleep, but exhaustion took over. Her eyes closed on their own, her body no longer obeyed her. At some point, she was almost asleep and didn’t notice that from the darkness behind her, an animal had truly emerged.
At first, a shadow flickered between the trees. Then, silently, almost without a sound, on soft paws, a wolf stepped out. It moved slowly, cautiously, sniffing the air, never taking its eyes off her. The distance shrank, step by step.
The woman didn’t notice it immediately. At first, it felt as if someone was standing next to her. She opened her eyes, but didn’t immediately understand what she was seeing. Only after a moment did her vision focus, and she saw it.
The wolf stood a few meters away. Large, dark, with a cold gaze. It didn’t growl, didn’t bare its teeth—it simply watched her.
She didn’t scream. She couldn’t. Fear paralyzed her so completely that she couldn’t even move.
A second passed. Then another. And suddenly, the wolf took a step forward. And then something truly terrifying happened 😱 The continuation of this story can be found in the first comment 👇👇
The woman closed her eyes, expecting the worst. But nothing happened.
When she opened them again, the wolf was no longer looking at her. It suddenly turned its head toward the forest, its ears alert, its body tense. At that very moment, another sound came from the darkness—heavy footsteps and a low, deep growl.
The wolf didn’t come any closer. It suddenly stepped back, looked at the woman one more time, and let out a soft whine, as if warning her. Then it turned and disappeared among the trees.
The woman didn’t immediately understand what had happened. But a few seconds later, she heard footsteps—not quiet anymore. Someone was coming straight toward her, not hiding.
Out of the darkness emerged two men with flashlights. Behind them, another one, carrying a rifle.
— There she is! — one of them shouted.
They were forest rangers. They had heard the howl and went to check if something had happened to animals or people.
As they approached, one of them said quietly:
— If it hadn’t been for the wolf… we wouldn’t have come here.
The woman could no longer speak. They carefully lifted her, wrapped her in a jacket, and gave her water.
The next day, she was found in the hospital. Doctors said that a few more hours, and it would have been impossible to save her.
And sometime later, they found the man as well.
He hadn’t made it far. The car was spotted by cameras at the exit of the forest area. When he was brought in for questioning, he first tried to deny everything, but then he broke down.
And that’s when he heard a sentence for the first time—one he would never forget:
— You left her to die. And the one who saved her is the one you would call a beast.
