🫣 🫣 For nearly three decades, 🪑🪑 🛠 this chair had a place in our home before I decided to give it a new life. 🫣 🫣 Here is the result! 👇 👇 👇
It was an essential part of our memories: it had witnessed countless family meals, cozy evenings, and endless conversations around the table.
But time had taken its toll. The brown paint had chipped away, its wobbly legs creaked with every movement, and a large hole had formed in the center. Yet, I couldn’t bring myself to throw it away.
So, I set out to restore it. It took me several days: I started by stripping off the old paint, then carefully cleaned the surface before reinforcing the weakened parts.
The hole in the center was still a challenge. Once repainted in white, it looked completely transformed—elegant and bright. But it was still missing a personal touch… So, I decided to add delicate rose-shaped patterns.
I carefully prepared the designs, making sure to cut the edges so they wouldn’t be visible before gluing them on and finishing with a final coat of paint.
In the meantime, I found another vintage chair that fits perfectly into my home.
Now, this restored chair is no longer just a piece of furniture but a true decorative element.
It brings a soft and cozy atmosphere to the room and, most importantly, it continues to be a part of our family’s story—only now, with a renewed and charming look.
