One day, an American woman called Casey Fisher spotted a homeless man. He was begging for charity and wandering on the streets.
After a short time, she again saw him in one of the coffee shops. The kind woman couldn’t stay indifferent and invited him to join her at her table.
The man got surprised and a little shy, as he didn’t expect such behavior from a woman. After all, he didn’t deny her invitation and accompanied her. They had a long friendly conversation.
The man’s name was Chris, and, it turned out, that the only reason he appeared on the streets was drugs. Unluckily, many years ago, he became addicted to drugs and lost his all belongings because of it.
Nevertheless, the woman had to interrupt their dialog, as she was late for an essential meeting. While Fisher was preparing to leave him, Chris instantly wrote a scrap on a piece of paper and gave it to her.
The woman went on her business and only a few hours later read the note. Then, she discovered, that she had done a very important mission there.
As if, she was just in the right place at the right time to prevent an accident. It turned out that it was written in the note, that the homeless man was about to end his life.
And, thanked the woman, he overthought and decided to try to start a new life.
