Meet Abigail and Isabelle from Minnesota. They were born conjoined at their chests. Lately, the sisters celebrated their 10 years apart.
They were taken to a hard surgery after six months after their birthday. Now, they are in the 4th grade and now live in North Dakota.
The surgery, which lasted more than 12 hours and involved 17 surgeons, successfully separated the sisters and allowed them to live separate lives.
After staying six months at the med clinic, they undertook the operation, and only after two weeks were they relieved and went home.
The baby girls were conjoined from the chest. Besides, their stomach and bowels were warped together.
Isabelle’s heart was bigger than Abby’s. After the separation, the baby sisters were growing day by day.
Despite the challenges they faced at birth, they are healthy and happy young girls with bright personalities and striking ginger hair.
As their educator noted, they did not want people to be confused with each other. They are very friendly and sociable, literary with everyone in the school.
The sisters are also incredibly close and inseparable. When they are apart, they feel an unbearable need to be together and they always want to hold hands when they walk home from school. They are just unique miracles.
