The story I’m sharing today is about the transformation of my dark little kitchen, far beyond anyone’s dreams. The space underwent some modest updates but received a new look because I lacked funds and options for major changes.

My crazy idea of carefully removing and relocating the tiles behind the refrigerator was approved by my patient father. We removed more tiles than necessary. It’s true that while soaking them in water to remove the leftover adhesive, I accidentally damaged one tile.

For your information: we first used a standard leveling compound to smooth the walls, followed by a finishing coat. Later, I simply painted the walls white.
