To win the competition, my rival broke my right leg and called me a “loser”; But she could never have imagined what I would do in response to such cruelty 😱

There were only ten minutes left before I had to go on stage.

I was calmly changing in the dressing room, adjusting my tutu, tying my pointe shoes, and mentally going through the entire dance from beginning to end. My teacher and I had been preparing for this competition for almost a whole year. Every day there were long training sessions, stretching, rehearsals until late at night, and work on every tiny detail.

“Today you have to show everything you’ve learned,” my teacher told me before leaving the dressing room. “I’m sure the victory will be yours.”

I smiled and nodded.

For the first time in a long while, I truly felt confident. Everything was perfectly prepared, and it seemed to me that no one would be able to stop me that day.

But at that moment, the dressing room door suddenly flew open. My main rival walked in.

She took part in almost every competition with me. Every time, she tried to hurt me, made sharp comments, laughed at my mistakes, and constantly repeated that I would never become the best.

She slowly walked up to me and looked straight into my eyes with a contemptuous smile.

“Well, loser, ready to lose?” she asked mockingly.

I calmly held her gaze.

“No. Today I’m the one who will win. I’ve prepared a dance after which every vote from the jury will be mine.”

Her face changed instantly.

The smile disappeared, and real anger appeared in her eyes.

“So that’s how it is…”

Suddenly, she shoved me hard with both hands.

I lost my balance and fell to the floor. I didn’t even have time to get up before she stomped her pointe shoe directly onto my right leg.

I screamed in pain.

She didn’t move her foot away. On the contrary, she pressed down even harder.

At one point, I heard a horrible crack.

The pain became so intense that everything went dark before my eyes.

I tried to push her away with my hands, but she only smirked.

“Now let’s see how you’re going to win.”

After those words, she turned around and calmly left the dressing room, as if nothing had happened.

I remained lying on the floor, struggling to hold back my tears.

My rival thought she had already won, but she could never have imagined how her cruel act would end. 🫣😳 I told the second part of my story in the first comment 👇👇

A few minutes later, the organizers and doctors came running.

After examining my leg, they immediately said I wouldn’t be able to perform.

I was taken to the hospital, and the competition continued without me.

Lying in the hospital room, I couldn’t stop thinking about what had happened.

It wasn’t only the fracture that hurt.

What tormented me most was the thought that someone could deliberately destroy another person’s dream just to win.

But I had no intention of giving up.

When I recovered a little, I asked the organizers to save the footage from the security cameras near the dressing rooms.

It turned out that the entire corridor and the entrance to the dressing room were under constant video surveillance.

In the footage, it was perfectly clear how my rival entered my dressing room before my performance and, a few minutes later, calmly walked out alone.

When the staff watched the full recording, they also saw the moment of the attack.

She hadn’t even noticed the small camera installed inside the dressing room for the safety of the participants.

Every word she said could be heard clearly on the video.

“Now let’s see how you’re going to win.”

The next day, the recording was shown to the competition management and all the jury members.

The judges immediately made a unanimous decision.

She was disqualified at once.

But it didn’t end there.

The video quickly spread among teachers at the country’s largest ballet academies.

Within a few weeks, almost all prestigious theaters and schools refused to invite her to auditions.

No one wanted to work with a person who was willing to cripple others for the sake of victory.

A few months later, the competition organizers contacted me. They said they had carefully rewatched the recordings of my rehearsals, which I had sent in advance for the selection process.

It was because of those videos that the jury decided to award me a special prize for the best performance of the competition program I never had the chance to show on stage.

When I received that prize, I was already able to walk again after a long rehabilitation.

That day, I understood one simple thing. She broke my leg, hoping to steal my victory. But in the end, she only destroyed her own career.
