By order of the billionaire’s mother, all the maids in their mansion had to keep their faces covered and never remove their scarves in front of her son. Marco was thirty-five years old, and by that age he had built a huge business empire. He owned construction companies, several hotels, and properties in different countries. But as soon as he crossed the threshold of his own home, everything changed.
In the enormous family mansion, it was still his mother, Elizabeth, who was in charge.
After her husband’s death, the woman had taken complete control of the household. She selected the staff, planned the menu, decided who could come to visit, and could even rearrange the furniture in her son’s room without warning him.
