The most brutal inmates deliberately spilled all the rice onto the floor that the new cook had spent several hours preparing, knowing perfectly well that the entire prison would go hungry. But no one could have imagined how their cruel prank would end… 😨
The new cook had been working in the prison kitchen for only two weeks. Her name was Lin. She was quiet, slender, and barely spoke to anyone. Every morning, she arrived before everyone else, put on her work apron, and silently got to work. She had to prepare enormous pots of rice, soup, and vegetables for nearly a thousand people, and it was exhausting work that not everyone could handle.
The inmates quickly noticed that the young woman never argued and never complained to anyone. That was exactly why several women decided to make her their favorite target for bullying.
Almost everyone was afraid of them.
Whenever they entered the kitchen, the others immediately stepped aside. They could steal someone else’s food, shove anyone they wanted, or ruin another person’s work just for fun. Even some of the guards tried to avoid getting involved with them.
That morning, Lin had spent almost three hours preparing a huge pot of rice. She checked the heat several times, carefully stirred every portion, and finally breathed a sigh of relief.
“Done,” she said quietly.
At that moment, two inmates entered the kitchen.
They exchanged glances and smirked.
“Look how hard she’s trying,” one of them mocked.
“It would be a shame if all of it went to waste,” the other replied.
Lin immediately understood that nothing good was about to happen.
She tightened her grip on the enormous spoon.
“Please don’t come any closer. Food service is about to begin.”
The women only laughed.
“And what are you going to do about it?”
One of them suddenly shoved the enormous pot.
The heavy cauldron rocked. Lin tried to hold it steady, but it was already too late.
Dozens of kilograms of hot rice crashed onto the floor with a dull thud. The white mass spread across the entire kitchen.
Silence fell. Lin slowly lowered her eyes. She knew the prison’s rules very well.
Whenever food was ruined, the person standing at the stove was always held responsible.
And no one would care who had actually pushed the pot.
The two women laughed with satisfaction.
“Now explain to the administration where the entire lunch went.”
“Maybe tomorrow you’ll learn how to hold a pot properly.”
They turned around and calmly walked toward the exit, convinced that everything had ended exactly as they wanted.
But Lin suddenly said in a calm voice:
“Wait.”
Then the cook did something that made both inmates deeply regret what they had done. 😲🫣 You can find the second part of this story in the first comment. 👇👇
They were already about to leave, certain that their plan had succeeded.
But Lin suddenly stood up from the floor.
She calmly looked at the rice scattered everywhere, then shifted her gaze to the two women.
“So you decided to have some fun?”
One of the inmates only smirked.
“And what are you going to do about it?”
In the next second, something happened that no one expected.
Lin suddenly grabbed the nearest woman by the arm, threw her off balance with a single movement, and sent her straight onto the spilled rice. The second inmate rushed to help her friend, but only moments later, she was also lying on the floor.
Everyone in the kitchen froze.
No one could believe that the slender cook had taken down the two most arrogant inmates in the prison within seconds.
Lin stepped closer to them and said calmly:
“Now pick up the shovels and clean up everything you caused.”
The women wanted to argue, but when they met her cold gaze, they silently stood up and began gathering the rice.
At that exact moment, the prison director entered the kitchen with several guards.
He immediately understood what had happened.
After listening to the witnesses, the director ordered the two inmates to clean the kitchen until it shone, then announced their punishment.
“For the next three days, you will receive no extra food. Only the minimum ration according to schedule. And forget about working in the kitchen.”
The women silently lowered their heads.
After they left, one of the guards looked at Lin in surprise.
“Where did you learn to fight like that?”
The young woman simply smiled calmly.
“Sometimes one good lesson is enough to make people remember forever that they should never bully those who seem weaker.”
From that day on, no one dared to bother the new cook again. Even the most defiant inmates preferred to keep their distance from her.
