The sheikh handed his new wife a golden bank card with nearly one million dollars in the account and ordered her to spend every last dollar within just one month. He warned her that if even a single dollar remained in the account by the deadline, he would disgracefully throw her out of the palace. 😨

But when, a month later, the sheikh saw exactly what his wife had spent all the money on, he was completely stunned. 😳

The sheikh had a very strange habit that almost everyone in the palace knew about. Every time he got married, on the very first evening he gave his new wife the exact same test.

He placed his golden bank card in front of her, with nearly one million dollars on it, and calmly said:

— Within one month, you must spend every last cent. If there is even a single dollar left in the account, I will divorce you the very next day, and you will leave this palace in disgrace.

No one understood why he did this, but the sheikh always repeated the same phrase:

— Money reveals a person’s true character better than any words.

His first wife thought long and hard before deciding to invest the money in a luxurious seaside mansion. She was certain that such an expensive property would be an excellent investment and that the sheikh would appreciate her wisdom.

But one month later, he silently looked through the documents, smirked, and said:

— You bought a house for yourself. You only think about yourself.

That very same day, she was ordered to leave the palace.

His second wife chose a completely different approach. She donated almost the entire million dollars to hospitals, orphanages, and charities, hoping to prove how kind-hearted she was.

When the time came for her to report back, the sheikh was once again dissatisfied.

— You gave away my money without even asking for my permission. Kindness does not excuse recklessness.

A few hours later, she too left the palace forever.

After that, rumors spread throughout the palace that the test was impossible to pass.

When the sheikh married for the third time, everyone already knew exactly what would happen.

The wedding ended late in the evening. The guests were still seated at the long banquet table when the sheikh pulled out the golden bank card and casually tossed it in front of his young wife.

— There are nearly one million dollars in this account. Spend every dollar within one month. If you fail, you will receive a divorce the morning after the inspection.

Laughter immediately spread around the table.

— Poor girl…

— She won’t last long.

— She’d better buy herself as much jewelry as possible. At least she’ll have something left after the divorce.

— Or expensive clothes. She’ll be able to take them with her.

Some of them didn’t even bother hiding their smiles because they knew perfectly well that no one had ever managed to satisfy the sheikh.

The young wife calmly picked up the card from the table, looked her husband in the eyes, and quietly asked:

— Do you truly want every last dollar to be gone?

— Every last dollar, he replied coldly.

She simply nodded and said nothing more.

A month later, the sheikh opened his banking app and saw that the account was indeed empty. But when he discovered exactly what his wife had spent all the money on, he nearly fainted from shock. 😱😧 You can find the second part of this story in the first comment. 👇👇

Throughout the following month, no one in the palace understood what the new wife was doing. She rarely attended receptions, almost never appeared at celebrations, and was often away with lawyers, architects, and financial advisors.

The servants whispered among themselves.

— She’s probably building herself a palace.

— Or buying jewelry.

— It doesn’t matter. She’ll be thrown out in a month anyway.

Finally, the day of the inspection arrived.

The sheikh opened his banking app and saw that the account was truly empty.

Not a single dollar remained.

He smiled with satisfaction.

— Let’s see how you’ve decided to surprise me.

His wife calmly placed a thick folder of documents in front of him.

— Every dollar has been spent exactly as you ordered.

The sheikh began flipping through the papers, and with every page his expression grew more serious.

She hadn’t bought a single piece of jewelry. She hadn’t purchased expensive dresses. She hadn’t donated the money to charity.

Instead, she had purchased all the outstanding debts of the companies that the sheikh secretly owned through front men. Many of those businesses had been suffering massive losses for years and were on the verge of bankruptcy.

She then paid off all of their creditors, replaced the management teams, negotiated new contracts, and invested the remaining money into modernizing their operations.

Her final purchase was shares in those very same companies, which were being sold for next to nothing because of their debts.

The sheikh slowly looked up.

— How did you even find out about all this?

His wife smiled calmly.

— Before our wedding, I worked as a financial analyst for ten years. When you gave me one month, I decided to begin by studying your assets. That’s when I discovered that every year you lose far more than a million dollars because of your own mistakes.

He continued silently reading the documents.

— As of today, your companies are already worth nearly twice as much as they were a month ago. The million dollars is gone because I spent every cent of it, but during this single month, your total fortune has increased by approximately three million dollars.

The room fell into such complete silence that no one even dared to move.

The very courtiers who had laughed at the young wife only a month earlier now exchanged astonished glances.

The sheikh remained silent for a long time before slowly closing the folder.

— In my entire life, no woman has ever made me regret my own test.

He rose from the table, looked at his wife with completely different eyes, and for the first time in many years smiled with genuine sincerity.

— I always believed I was testing my wives. But today I realized that, for the very first time, it wasn’t my wife who failed the test… it was my own pride.
