Melissa Sloan, a 46-year-old woman from Wales, has had a tumultuous relationship with tattoos for 26 years. She started getting tattoos at the age of twenty.
Having accepted social exclusion, Sloan knows that her increasing success makes her life harder.

Although she can’t find paid work due to the extent of her tattoos, she asks her partner to give her three “prison-style” tattoos each week.
