A young woman had kept an enormous python at home for almost seven years, until one day the snake began crawling into her bed every night and wrapping itself around her body. Emma had loved snakes since childhood.
While other children asked their parents for a puppy or a kitten, she could spend hours watching programs about reptiles and reading books about the world’s largest snakes.
When Emma turned sixteen, her father decided to give his daughter an unusual gift. He brought home a young yellow python.
At the time, the snake was still very small. Emma could easily hold it in her hands, and sometimes the python would coil around her wrist and lie there almost motionless for a long time.
