Sofia’s morning began exactly as she had imagined it for many years. In just a few hours, she would marry Daniel, whom she had been dating for almost four years.
For their wedding, they chose a small old church outside the city. It stood on a hill and was surrounded by forest. The building had been constructed more than a hundred years ago, but everything inside looked beautiful: high ceilings, old wooden pews, huge windows, and white flowers lining the aisle.
Sofia wanted to arrive at the church in an unusual way — riding her horse, Luna.

Daniel rushed to Sofia, grabbed her hand, and they stepped back together. A second later, there was a terrible crash. But it was not the chandelier that fell.

She turned around and began pushing Sofia toward the doors.
