The most dangerous inmate in the prison mocked a poor old man who had recently started working as a janitor, but the inmate could never have imagined who that old man really was and what he was capable of 😱

Everyone in that prison knew him.

A huge, muscular inmate named Marcus had long been considered the most dangerous man among all the criminals locked up there. Standing nearly two meters tall, with a hard stare, tattoo-covered arms, and violent outbursts so frequent that even the guards tried not to provoke him.

The other inmates were afraid to cross him.

If Marcus took a seat at a table, no one dared sit there. If something annoyed him, he could start a fight right in the middle of the prison yard. Over the past few years, he had been transferred from one prison to another several times because he constantly caused trouble.

That was exactly why the arrival of a new janitor became a source of amusement for many.

The old man’s name was Walter.

At first glance, he looked well over seventy years old. Thin, hunched over, short, with sparse gray hair and thick glasses. He moved slowly, limping slightly and leaning on an old mop almost like it was a walking cane.

No one really knew where he had come from.

Rumors said that he had once worked as a security guard and, after his wife passed away, had been left completely alone. His pension barely covered his living expenses, so he accepted a job at the prison. The facility was constantly short of maintenance staff, and very few people were willing to work among dangerous criminals.

The administration decided to give the old man a chance.

Every morning, he arrived before everyone else, quietly cleaned the floors, took out the trash, cleaned the cafeteria, and never argued with anyone.

From the outside, he looked completely harmless.

The inmates quickly found themselves a new target for their jokes.

Some deliberately threw trash right in front of him.

Others tripped him.

Some laughed loudly at how slowly he moved.

— Hey, old man, can you even see anything through those glasses?

— Careful, or you’ll end up getting lost yourself.

— Maybe it’s time for you to move into a nursing home.

Every time, the old man simply continued working calmly and never replied. Because of that, they mocked him even more.

One day during lunch, the cafeteria was packed.

Hundreds of inmates sat at the tables, clattering metal trays and talking loudly.

Marcus and his friends occupied a large table in the center of the hall.

As usual, there was plenty of empty space around him. No one wanted to accidentally bump into the prison’s most dangerous inmate.

Meanwhile, Walter calmly swept the floor between the rows of tables. He moved slowly, collecting trash after lunch.

As he passed by Marcus’s table, the old man accidentally touched Marcus’s boot with his dirty mop.

That was enough.

Marcus jumped to his feet.

The cafeteria instantly grew quieter.

— What do you think you’re doing, you old idiot?!

Walter flinched and quickly adjusted his glasses.

— I’m sorry, it was an accident…

But Marcus wasn’t listening anymore.

— Blind old man! Do you even watch where you’re going?

Laughter broke out around them.

— Maybe we should buy him a guide dog?

— Or a new brain!

Marcus stepped forward.

— Get out of here and stay out of my way.

After saying that, he shoved the old man hard in the chest.

Walter lost his balance. The mop flew from his hands, and he fell to the floor right beside the table.

Laughter echoed through the cafeteria. Some inmates even started applauding.

Walter sat motionless on the floor for a few seconds before slowly getting up.

He adjusted his glasses, picked up the mop, and looked at Marcus. Then this seemingly helpless old man did something that left the entire prison in complete shock 😱

The old man carefully placed the mop against the wall and took off his glasses.

At that moment, some people noticed something strange.

Despite his age, his movements suddenly became confident and surprisingly light.

It was as if all the weakness they had seen in him over the past few weeks had vanished.

Marcus frowned.

— What is it, old man? Did I hurt your feelings?

The old man calmly looked him in the eyes.

— If I were you, I’d stop right now.

At those words, the cafeteria exploded with laughter.

— He’s actually threatening him!

— The old man has completely lost his mind!

— Marcus, show him where he belongs!

The giant took one step forward.

Then another.

— And what exactly are you going to do about it?

The old man let out a deep sigh.

— I didn’t want this.

Marcus suddenly raised his arm, preparing to shove him again.

But in the very next second, something unbelievable happened.

No one even understood what had occurred.

The old man instantly moved to the side.

His hand briefly and precisely touched a specific spot on Marcus’s neck.

The movement was so fast that many people didn’t even notice it.

The huge inmate froze.

The smile disappeared from his face.

He took one step backward.

Then another.

And then his eyes rolled back, and the two-meter-tall giant collapsed to the floor with all his weight.

Absolute silence filled the cafeteria.

Hundreds of inmates stared at the scene with their mouths open.

Someone even dropped a tray.

No one could believe their eyes.

The man everyone had considered a helpless old janitor had just knocked out the most dangerous inmate with a single movement.

A few seconds later, guards rushed over to Marcus.

He was already regaining consciousness, but he looked completely confused.

He didn’t even understand what had happened.

The prison warden personally came down to the cafeteria.

And then the truth was revealed.

Many years earlier, Walter had been an international-level champion in sambo and judo.

After serving in the military, he spent more than twenty years working as an instructor in a special police unit, teaching self-defense techniques.

His students won national championships, and some later became special forces instructors themselves.

After retiring, he lost his wife and lived alone for many years.

When the prison administration was looking for a janitor, Walter accepted the job simply because he didn’t want to sit at home with nothing to do.
