They found nothing suspicious. In the footage, Laura was almost always alone.

But a week later, something happened that no one expected.

At around two in the morning, the prison director appeared in the corridor. He looked around several times, then approached one of the surveillance cameras and did something through the service panel.
A few minutes later, the main system began showing a pre-recorded empty corridor.
But the hidden camera continued recording what was happening.
The director opened a service door at the end of the floor. A man in ordinary clothes came out. Then the director used his key to open one of the solitary cells and let him inside.
After some time, the man came out, handed the director an envelope, and was then led out through the same service passage.
When the staff began investigating, the truth turned out to be even more terrifying. The director had been doing this for several months.
For large sums of money, he secretly allowed the husbands and lovers of some inmates to enter the prison colony at night. The men were brought in through an old service entrance that was officially considered closed.
And so that no one would notice anything, the director temporarily replaced the camera feed with pre-recorded footage of an empty corridor and personally opened the cells with his universal key.
That was why the electronic system showed no sign of a break-in.
After the hidden recording was discovered, the director was arrested directly at his workplace.
