“One room, one bed for two… Aren’t you afraid of me?” Because of a terrible storm, a young woman was forced to spend the night in the same hotel room as the most dangerous man in the city. But what happened in that room during the night turned out to be truly horrifying 😨

A terrible storm was raging outside. The rain was pouring down, the powerful wind bent the trees to the ground, and bright flashes of lightning illuminated the empty streets for several seconds. The thunder was so loud that the windows of the houses shook and car alarms went off.

Emma barely managed to reach the nearest hotel. Her dress was completely soaked, her hair clung to her face, and her shoes were full of water. A few hours earlier, the bus she had been traveling on had broken down in the middle of the highway. The driver had promised to call for help, but the storm had flooded the road, and they would have had to wait until morning.

When Emma saw the hotel lights, she thought she was finally safe. She quickly went inside and approached the front desk.

“I need any available room. Just for one night,” she pleaded, taking out her documents.

The receptionist shook his head apologetically.

“I’m sorry, but all the rooms are occupied. Too many people have stopped here because of the closed roads.”

“Please check again. I’ll pay twice as much.”

“There really aren’t any rooms available.”

Emma couldn’t go back outside. The nearest town was several miles away, her phone was almost dead, and no taxis would come in such weather.

That was when she saw him.

In the far corner of the lobby, a tall man in a black shirt was sitting in a large leather armchair. His name was Don Carlos. Emma recognized him immediately, although she had only ever seen him in photographs.

The most terrifying rumors circulated about him throughout the city. People said that anyone who stood in his way disappeared without a trace. He was considered a ruthless man capable of anything. Even the police tried not to interfere in his affairs.

Carlos slowly stood up and approached the front desk. Everyone in the lobby immediately fell silent.

“There’s enough space in my room,” he said calmly. “The young woman can spend the night there.”

Emma looked at him in fear.

“Thank you, but I’ll find another solution.”

“What exactly?” Carlos asked, glancing at the storm raging outside the windows. “Are you going to spend the night on the street?”

She had no other choice. A few minutes later, they went up to the top floor. Carlos’s room was large and luxurious, but there was only one bed.

As soon as Emma stepped inside, the man closed the door from the inside and slowly turned the key in the lock.

The young woman’s heart began to beat faster.

Carlos noticed her fear and smiled.

“One room, one bed for two. Aren’t you afraid of me?”

Emma was trembling, but she tried to appear confident.

“If I were afraid, I wouldn’t have come up here.”

“You came up because you had nowhere else to go.”

No one could have imagined what would happen that night in Room 307. 😳😱 You can find the rest of the story in the first comment👇👇

He took off his jacket, placed it on the armchair, and walked over to the window. Emma remained by the door, clutching her bag tightly against her chest.

“The bed is yours,” Carlos said. “I’ll stay in the armchair.”

His words calmed the young woman a little, but she still couldn’t fall asleep. Lightning flashed outside the window, while tree branches scraped against the glass. Carlos sat in the armchair as if he were waiting for something.

At around two in the morning, the lights suddenly went out.

The room became completely dark.

A few seconds later, Emma heard a strange sound. Someone was slowly scratching at the door from the outside.

She wanted to call out to Carlos, but he was already beside her and covered her mouth with his hand.

“Not a sound,” he whispered.

The quiet sobbing of a woman came from the hallway.

“Help me… Please…”

Emma moved toward the door, but Carlos held her back.

“There’s a woman out there!”

“No,” he replied coldly. “It’s a recording.”

The scratching stopped. Then the door handle slowly moved downward, even though the room was locked.

Carlos pulled out a gun.

At that moment, the mirror beside the bed slid to one side. Behind it was a narrow secret passage. A man wearing a hotel employee’s uniform emerged from the darkness with a large knife in his hand.

Emma screamed.

Carlos lunged at the stranger, and the two men began to fight. The knife fell to the floor. The attacker tried to reach the secret passage, but Carlos knocked him down and tied him up with the lamp cord.

“Who is he?” Emma whispered.

Carlos turned on a flashlight and entered the passage. Despite her fear, the young woman followed him.

A long corridor stretched behind the walls of the hotel rooms. There were cameras, monitors, and dozens of suitcases. Photographs of women who had once stayed at the hotel and then disappeared without a trace hung on the wall.

Among them, Emma saw a photograph of herself. It had been taken only an hour earlier while she was standing at the front desk.

It turned out that the hotel employees deliberately told women traveling alone that there were no available rooms. They then offered to let them rest temporarily in a staff room, after which the women disappeared.

Carlos had not come to the hotel by accident. Several months earlier, his younger sister had disappeared there. He had deliberately booked the same room because he knew about the secret passage and was waiting for the criminals to appear again.

But the most horrifying discovery was something else.

When the police broke through a wall in the basement, they found the personal belongings of dozens of missing people. However, the hotel owner was not among those arrested.

In the morning, as Emma left the hotel, the receptionist was already sitting in a police car. Carlos stood beneath the awning, silently watching the rain.

“It seems you weren’t the one I should have been afraid of,” the young woman said quietly.
