After his wife passed away, Viktor changed completely. He had once been a strong, confident man who built a successful company with his own hands and gave his children a comfortable, worry-free life. But losing the woman he loved seemed to drain all the strength from him. He became quiet, rarely left the house, and almost stopped seeing his friends. He spent all his time in the country home where his family had once been so happy.
At first, his sons pretended to care about him. They visited often, asked about his health, brought him groceries, and smiled as if they genuinely wanted to help. But behind that kindness was something entirely different.
